Compounding is a process of combining at least two different types of metals to form a laminated material that cannot be separated. In short, this process consists of two or more metal coils passing through the rolling mill at the same time, and they are combined together by the action of pressure.
Low-carbon steel and stainless steel, copper, brass and bronze alloys, or aluminum and nickel can be used as core materials, as are other precious metals.
